Understand the categoriesThe medication guide.
A plain-language overview of how treatment categories work on ReBrandMD, how compounded medications differ from FDA-approved products, and the safeguards that apply to every request.
How treatment options are determined
ReBrandMD is a wellness and technology platform — it does not practice medicine or make clinical decisions. When you submit a request, an independent licensed provider reviews your health intake and decides whether any treatment is appropriate for you. Treatment is not guaranteed, and not all patients will qualify.
Prescription vs. wellness ingredients
Some options explored across our protocols are everyday wellness ingredients (for example, vitamins, antioxidants, and well-studied sports-nutrition ingredients). Others are prescription categories that can only be evaluated and prescribed by a licensed provider, and only where legally permitted. Our ingredient library labels prescription categories clearly.
About compounded medications
Where compounded medications are involved, it's important to understand: compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality. They are prepared by licensed pharmacies for specific patients pursuant to a valid prescription. Regulatory status in some categories is actively changing; availability is subject to current law and may vary by state.
Safety, side effects & honesty
Every medication and ingredient carries potential risks and side effects. A licensed provider will discuss relevant risks with you and may request additional information before making any decision. Never start, stop, or change a prescription without provider guidance, and seek medical care for any urgent symptoms.
Payment transparency
You are charged at secure checkout. If a licensed provider does not approve treatment, you are refunded for any prescription items that are not dispensed.
